opportunities.Position Summary: -This Level IIB Special Care
Nursery has a 10-bed capacity. The unit provides comprehensive care
to critically ill full term and premature infants with various
medical conditions. In addition, it provides continuing care to
stable, pre-term neonates and chronically ill neonates prior to
discharge to home. All infants in the SCN require close
cardio-respiratory monitoring and ongoing assessments during their
stay. - Family education is a large part of the interdisciplinary
care in the SCN. Our Special Care Nursery operates on a 24-hour
basis, seven days a week. -The selected RN will provide
comprehensive, collaborative, evidence-based care to infants
requiring stabilization, ongoing assessment, and/or long-term care.
- Will provide a compassionate and safe environment for our
patients, their parents and families, and will continuously monitor
and improve performance and customer satisfaction. This position
also cross trains to cover in the Mother Infant Unit.Hours:Per
diemQualifications:- BSN preferred, BLS required, NRP required-
Telemetry monitoring experience -required- SCN experience required,
2 years minimum, 5 years preferred, - -level 3- MCH experience-
Ability to work every other weekend and every other Holiday -
