Job Description:
A company is looking for a Vice President of the Obesity
Association to lead initiatives focused on reducing obesity
prevalence and improving health in at-risk communities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Obesity
Association
Oversee day-to-day operations, including team management and budget
oversight
Serve as the public face of the Obesity Association, building
relationships with stakeholders and partners
Required Qualifications
Advanced degree in a healthcare-related field (e.g., MD, NP, PA,
PhD, DrPH) or a Master's of Public Health with direct obesity
experience
15+ years of experience in an executive or senior leadership role
within healthcare or public health
Deep expertise in obesity, including its causes, prevention, and
treatment
Strong track record of strategic planning and execution in public
health or chronic disease
Experience in public health advocacy, research, or policy
development is highly desirable
